Concept
Through this exhibition, the students at Oslo National Academy of the Arts wish to explore the relationship between objects and their two-dimensional representations. In the meeting point between the furniture and the spotlight a new shape appears, creating a shadow representation of the physical object, an image that invokes a completely different feeling. The students chose to focus on this duality and to use these new and partially distorted shapes to create a visual experience for the audience. "Spot On" puts the furniture in the spotlight to create a shape that may not be an actual "spot on" representation of the physical object.
